Shodoshima Island is known as the Mediterranean of Japan as it is blessed with a dry and warm climate all year round. Apart from the "Angel Road", where a sand bar appears during low tide and its iconic Kankakei Gorge, our kid really adored the hour long car ferry ride from Takamatsu City, and the Olive Park with its windmill that was presented from its sister island of Milos in Greece. On the other hand, the parents in-law enjoyed the soya sauce museum, and the sashimi lunch.
All in all, our family trip to Shodoshima was a lasting memory to all 3 generations and we would not hesitate to return.
